About Busy Baby

Shortly after her first son was born, Beth Fynbo came up with a genius product idea to stop babies from dropping and throwing their toys. It’s a simple concept – a silicone placemat with suction cups that has toy straps for attaching baby’s favorite toys to the mat. Even though she didn’t have any experience in product development and starting a business, she managed to turn that idea into a real product on the market. With the help of her brother Eric, Busy Baby has grown into a multi-product brand with more than 9 patents. As Army Veterans, both Beth and Eric use skills acquired in the military to forge forward down the bumpy path of entrepreneurship.

Are your products made in the USA?

While we are Army Veterans with more than 15 years of service to our amazing country, our products are manufactured with strict supervision in China. Our overseas team makes sure that everything is manufactured responsibly, factory employees are treated well and paid a fair wage, and perform quality control tests on every batch of product manufactured. We also do rigorous 3rd party safety testing to ensure all of our products meet or exceed CPSC requirements.
